Finally

It's taken me about 6 months to finally create this blog.

It had been an idea for months, but finally doing it was a scary thought. How would I find my audience? What would I write about? Who would read it? Why would I share details of my personal life and health with complete strangers? Would I regret this?
It took me about 2 months to decide on the name of the blog. Honestly, I just decided a few hours ago. That's the nature of the beast. Everything takes so much longer to complete, and I never know if I'm doing things right.

Thought processing, decision making, concentration, and comprehension.
My doctors love to use those words in appointments. Those and some others, but I don't remember the others right now. Maybe, I'll remember them later, maybe, I won't. They don't tell you how long the memory loss can last; they say they don't know and everyone is different.

My memory used to be incredible. My first job after college was to memorize legal documents and explain them to my clients. Life is different now. Already, so far, I have had to stop writing because I smelt food burning. I forgot it was in the oven, then I had to take my medication. Apparently, I also forgot to take it this morning, since I found the AM slot still filled. Enough about forgetting things. Memory is a topic for another day.

My goal is to write a post at least once a week. I'd like to set a higher goal, but I hope to remain realistic. Between daily appointments and exercises, time is limited. Also, screen time triggers migraines. In 2018, staying away from screens is nearly impossible. Last week in one of my rehabilitation appointments they had a technology specialist come in a show me different pairs of screen wear glasses. I already currently wear prism lenses to help prevent double vision, but screen glasses can help prevent some of the light from the screen from entering my eyes and cause migraines. As other accident recovery patients know, this is helpful but it is also another unforeseen medical bill.
Anyways, we will see how the writing posting and goes. Subscribe and comment
